OEWeek Live! Panel on Learning with AI, an open student led project

The University of Leeds is proud to announce its first-ever student-led open book, “Learning with AI.” As AI becomes a dominant topic in higher education, this book features contributions from students worldwide, exploring how AI supports their studies. The pressbook will exist as a living book, continuing to grow and evolve beyond the initial submission period, creating a legacy that charts the evolution of AI in student studies.

Entirely student-led, the book will be edited by student ambassadors Amani Assan and Olivia Davies, with support from staff in the School of Education, Digital Education Services, the Library, ODPL, Curriculum Redefined, and the Knowledge Equity Network. It is proudly sponsored by Deputy Vice Chancellor Student Education Jeff Grabill and Dean of Online Education Margaret Korosec.

I think the project is going to be incredibly beneficial in illustrating the way students use AI to support their studies, and this work is paving the way for new educational technologies collaborating with AI
