Melanin Vybz (LGBTQ+ BPOC 50+ Meetup)

A monthly group for LGBTQ+ Black people and people of colour over 50. ****Melanin**** ****Vybz**** is a progressive social meetup group for 50+ Black LGBTQ+ elders. The meetup group brings together elders to foster connection, community, and mutual support. Our continued focus is to raise awareness about loneliness and isolation among our elders in our communities and also actively address it. With our events calendar which includes guest speakers, walks, talks, storytelling, film and more, we aim to create welcoming spaces for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and authentic friendships. Whether you’re seeking companionship, personal growth, or a supportive network, this group offers a place to be seen, heard and valued, also, feel connected in community.  Check out this[ promo video the group has made][1]. ****Accessibility at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre**** The Centre's accessibility statement is[ here.][2] ****Covid safety at the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre**** To keep our community safe, we ask that all visitors do not visit the Centre if they are feeling any Covid-19 symptoms including a headache, fever, sore throat, consistent cough or chills.
