A monthly meetup to discuss extracts from Buddhist texts from different traditions through the lens of queerness, gender, race, and climate. ****A monthly meetup to discuss extracts from Buddhist texts from different traditions through the lens of queerness, gender, race, and climate justice.**** [Click here][1] for what we're reading this month. This event is for both practicing Buddhists, who may find it difficult to bring these issues into more traditional Buddhist study settings, and for anyone who would like to discuss daily life and philosophical issues through a Buddhist lens. Gender-conforming queers and allies are also welcome! ****About the facilitator**** ****Matt (they/them)**** is a Buddhist and self-professed nerd who has been practicing meditation for 7 years. They have had challenges studying in more gendered Buddhist spaces in the past and are looking forward to the opportunity to discuss the intersection between Buddhist practice and queer ways of being. ****Remi (they/them)**** started meditating four years ago, while re-assessing life after becoming chronically ill and recovering from burnout.
