The Network Against Migrant Detention is a transnational coalition of activists calling for the abolition of administrative detention for migrants in Italy, Albania, across Europe and everywhere.
The detention centers in Albania are not an exception but yet another manifestation of an inhumane detention policyโone that will gain further legitimacy with the implementation of the new EU Pact on Migration and Asylum. We believe it is urgent to stop these dangerous trends, which affect all EU countries.
We invite you all to participate, the 15th and 16th of March in Rome in a transnational public assembly to discuss and build together a common mobilisation in Europe.
